Welcome to Mrs. Stickley’s Website

Welcome to my website: Art is Messy, but fun!

I am Mrs. Stickley, your child’s art teacher!  images copy 3

I hold a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Ashland University and a Bachelors of Science in Visual Arts (K-12) from the University of Akron. I am currently assigned to Munson and Hambden schools. I teach art to 600+ students every week.

I live in my hometown of Mayfield with my husband and three daughters. I am a former naturalist for the Cleveland Metroparks. My interest in nature and animals has spread to school. Munson houses a Viquarium, complete with tadpoles, frogs, toads, axolotil, fish, fiddler crabs and live plants; a Crabitat that features a Russian Tortoise “Boris” and several hermit crabs. Maple has a Eastern Box turtle “Boxer”, a toad “Mortina” and a Viquarium with a fire belly toad, tadpoles, newts, fish, fiddler crabs and live plants. Park  will soon have Viquarium that will house an axolotil (salamander with gills). Through grants obtained from the Chardon Schools Foundation, a wildlife garden has been planted at Munson which I oversee and maintain.

I enjoy hiking, gardening, kayaking and scrapbooking.

I can be contacted at each school via phone or email:
