Welcome to Mrs. Stickley’s Website

Welcome to my website: Art is Messy, but fun!

I am Mrs. Stickley, your child’s art teacher!  images copy 3

I earned a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Ashland University and a Bachelors of Science in Visual Arts (K-12) from the University of Akron. I am currently assigned to Munson and Park & Chardon Early Learning Center (Maple) schools. I teach art to 700+ students every week.

I live in my hometown of Mayfield with my husband, Tim. We have three adult daughters, one currently in California, one living in Georgia & one that lives locally. As a former naturalist for the Cleveland Metroparks, my interest in nature and animals has spread to school. Munson houses a Viquarium; newts, snails and live plants, a terrarium with an Eastern Box turtle “Boxer” and a tank that features succulents & insects on a seasonal basis.  Park has a Viquarium that houses newts and snails. These live animal exhibits are the result of grant money given by the Chardon Schools Foundation and continuing support from the Munson PTO.

During the summer months, the live animals vacation at the Stickley house.

I enjoy hiking, gardening, kayaking and scrapbooking. Several times a month, I trail ride a gentle horse at a 900 acre wooded estate.

I can be contacted at each school via phone or email:
